Effective date: May 2026 · PunchList for iOS

PunchList is built to help you document jobs, punch items, photos, notes, and project records. Most app data is stored locally on your device. PunchList does not require an account and does not operate a user-login system.

1. Who is responsible

PunchList is developed and published by the publisher of the PunchList iOS app. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at [email protected].

2. What data PunchList stores

PunchList may store information you enter into the app, including job or folder names, punch item titles, notes, statuses, priorities, categories, locations, custom fields, templates, photos, generated summaries, and exported records.

This information is stored on your device using standard iOS local storage.

3. Photos and documents

Photos you add to punch items are stored in the app on your device. When you export a PDF report, the file is generated on your device. Sharing exported PDFs through AirDrop, email, Messages, Files, or another service is controlled by you.

PunchList does not upload exported PDF reports to a PunchList server.

4. Speech recognition and AI features

PunchList may offer speech-to-text features using Apple speech recognition and microphone access. Your use of Apple speech recognition is subject to Apple’s privacy practices and system permissions.

PunchList may also offer AI-assisted summary features. When you choose to use an AI feature, relevant text such as your note transcript, existing punch title, and related field instructions may be sent to a backend service for processing and returned as a summary, title, category, priority, location, or custom field suggestion.

Do not use AI features with information you do not want processed by an external service.

5. Data you enter about other people

You may enter names, addresses, job details, site notes, photos, or other information relating to clients, contractors, tenants, collaborators, or other people. You are responsible for ensuring you have permission or another lawful basis to store and use that information.

6. Subscriptions and payments

PunchList Pro purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. RevenueCat is used for entitlement management and may receive purchase and subscription event data needed to determine whether you have an active Pro subscription or lifetime purchase.

Neither PunchList nor RevenueCat stores your payment card details. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy for more information: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
